OUR WORKSHOPS

La Vuelta del Mundo workshops are practical courses for people who want to travel by bicycle with more confidence. They are designed for riders who want to understand their bike, choose better equipment, prepare for real travel situations and avoid the most common mistakes before leaving home.
The workshops usually take place in Neuchatel and combine bicycle mechanics, touring experience, safety, navigation, equipment advice and travel preparation. They are suitable for people preparing a first cycling holiday, a longer tour, an e-bike journey or a more demanding trip abroad.

Important information: Except for our "Without Bike 4 hours" the use of a bicycle is mandatory for our workshops. Therefore, you MUST have a bike that is in good working condition. If your bike or e-bike is not in at least reasonable working condition or if you do not have a bicycle available at all, you can book a rental bike or rental e-bike from Swisstourer. We advise people that these workshops are for bicycle touring, and basic skills such as changing gears are required.
